Degrees- -Discovery--Awarded to all 8th grade members who have participated in at least one activity and or meeting
-Greenhand--Awarded to first or second year members who have met the requirements of: at least one semester of an Ag class, and plans for an SAE program
-Chapter--Awarded to members sophomore level or above who have met the following requirements: received or applying for greenhand degree, two complete semesters of an Ag class, a working SAE program
-State and American Degrees are based on Nebraska FFA and National FFA standards. See Mr. Hadenfeldt for more information
Proficiency Awards-
-Chapter Proficiency--awarded the the applicant with the best SAE in the award area
-District and State Proficiency awards are based off of the application from the National FFA Organization
Scholarship Program-
Top Ten Scholarship- At the end of each year, the year’s points are tabulated. The top ten members in total points are given a $50 scholarship from the Centura FFA and Alumni. This scholarship has no grade restriction, and is payable after the first semester of completed college. A member may win this all four years of their high school career earning them a total of $200 at the culmination.
Senior Points Scholarship- All seniors points totals for their 9-12th grade years are tabulated. The senior with the highest point total will be awarded this scholarship of $100, payable after their first semester of college.
Alumni Parent Scholarship-- Any member who’s parents join the Centura FFA Alumni and pay their dues all 4 years, will be awarded this scholarship, regardless of college degree being pursued. Contact for this scholarship is the current Centura FFA Alumni Secretary
Centura FFA Alumni Ag Scholarship-- Any senior entering a 2 or 4 year college that will be majoring in an Agriculture related field is eligible for this scholarship. Contact for this scholarship is the current Centura FFA Alumni Secretary.
